The earliest evidence
of painting in the world
was found in Arnhem
Land, NT. At the site
were discovered used
pieces of ochre {an earthy
pigment commonly used
for painting) thought
to be 60,000 years old.

white, then it gets coloured in.
Shiny woodwork and bright white
walls are the beautiful beginnings
here. Boldly striped wing-backed
armchairs challenge a look-at-me
sofa, the colours of which are
echoed in a painted-on dado rail.
